Toilet seat

A hinged ring fitted over a toilet bowl, usually with a lid, that provides a surface for sitting while using the toilet.

Toilet: A sanitation fixture that collects and removes human waste, typically by flushing it through a drain. The seat is a fitted part of this larger fixture.
