Toledo School of Translators

Toledo School of Translators is a modern name for translators working in medieval Toledo, where Arabic and other works were rendered into Latin and Castilian. It describes a loose tradition rather than a formally established institution.

Arabic–Latin translation movement: The translation of Arabic texts into Latin, especially in medieval Europe. Toledo became a major Iberian center within this wider movement.
