Tool (slang)
A tool is a foolish or contemptible person, often someone manipulated or used by another person.
Pejorative: A word or expression that conveys contempt, disapproval, or disrespect. “Tool” is an insult whose force depends on its contemptuous use.
Puppet: A person whose actions are controlled or directed by someone else. Like a tool, a puppet suggests another person is pulling the strings.
Interpersonal communication: The exchange of information and meaning between people. The insult’s effect depends on the relationship and situation in which it is said.
Moron: A highly offensive insult for a person regarded as very stupid. “Moron” attacks intelligence more directly and harshly than “tool” usually does.
