Trans-African Highway 1 : A planned highway corridor linking Cairo, Egypt, with Dakar, Senegal, along Africa’s northern coast. It is the network’s northern transcontinental route.
Trans-African Highway 5 : A planned highway corridor linking Dakar, Senegal, with N'Djamena, Chad. This west–east corridor is intended to connect Sahelian countries.
