Treaty of Campo Formio

The 1797 peace treaty between Revolutionary France and Austria that ended the War of the First Coalition and reshaped territories in Italy and the Low Countries.

War of the First Coalition: A European war coalition fought Revolutionary France from 1792 to 1797. The treaty formally ended this conflict between France and Austria.
