Treaty of Nijmegen

The Treaty of Nijmegen was a group of agreements signed in 1678–1679 that ended the Franco-Dutch War and related conflicts among France, the Dutch Republic, Spain, and the Holy Roman Empire.

Franco-Dutch War: A European war fought from 1672 to 1678, chiefly between France and the Dutch Republic and their allies. Its end was the central achievement of the Nijmegen negotiations.
Treaty of Nijmegen (France–Dutch Republic): The 1678 agreement between France and the Dutch Republic that ended their war and restored the prewar status quo between them. It secured peace between the principal adversaries and restored most Dutch territory.
