Turritellidae

Turritellidae is a family of marine gastropod mollusks whose members, called turret snails, have tall, tightly coiled shells.

Gastropoda: A large class of mollusks that includes snails and slugs, typically moving on a muscular foot. Turritellidae belongs to this class of mollusks.
Ciliary feeding: Particle collection driven by the movement of microscopic hairlike cilia. Cilia help turret snails transport captured food toward the mouth.
