TVXQ

TVXQ is a South Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment in 2003. Also known as Dong Bang Shin Ki and Tohoshinki, it became one of the first Korean acts to build a major following in Japan.

SM Entertainment: A South Korean entertainment company founded by Lee Soo-man that develops and manages music artists. SM Entertainment formed TVXQ and directed its early career.
U-Know Yunho: A South Korean singer, dancer, and actor who performs as TVXQ’s leader. He continued with TVXQ after the 2010 lineup split.
Hug (TVXQ song): TVXQ’s debut single, released in South Korea in 2004. The song introduced the group’s early pop sound to Korean audiences.

JYJ: A South Korean musical group formed by Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu after their departure from TVXQ. The trio continued separately after leaving TVXQ’s original five-member lineup.
