The Union of European Football Associations is the governing body for football in Europe. It organizes major European club and national-team competitions and coordinates the sport among its member associations.

UEFA Champions League: An annual UEFA competition for leading European men's club teams. It is UEFA’s flagship club competition and its largest global showcase.
UEFA member associations: The national football governing bodies affiliated with UEFA. They form UEFA’s membership and administer football within their territories.
Henri Delaunay: A French football administrator who proposed a European national-team championship. His proposal helped inspire the tournament later named the European Championship.

UEFA Europa Conference League: An annual UEFA men's club competition introduced in 2021 as the third tier of European competition. It broadens UEFA’s club competitions to include more associations and teams.
UEFA Financial Fair Play Regulations: UEFA rules designed to promote financial stability and limit clubs’ spending relative to their revenue. These regulations govern financial conditions for clubs entering UEFA competitions.
