Ulster Unionist Party

The Ulster Unionist Party is a Northern Irish political party that supports Northern Ireland remaining in the United Kingdom. It dominated unionist politics for much of the twentieth century.

Irish Home Rule movement: A political campaign seeking self-government for Ireland within the United Kingdom. The party emerged in opposition to Home Rule proposals that threatened the union with Britain.
