United Kingdom of the Netherlands

The United Kingdom of the Netherlands was a state that joined the northern and southern Low Countries from 1815 to 1830 under the House of Orange-Nassau.

Congress of Vienna: A diplomatic conference that redrew Europe after Napoleon’s defeat, meeting from 1814 to 1815. Its settlement created the kingdom as a barrier against renewed French expansion.
Constitution of the Netherlands: The fundamental law defining the institutions and powers of the Dutch state. The constitution structured royal authority and representation across the united provinces.
