V. Gordon Childe

V. Gordon Childe was an Australian archaeologist and prehistorian whose influential syntheses linked technological change to the rise of agriculture and cities.

Stuart Piggott: Stuart Piggott was a British archaeologist known for research on prehistoric Britain and European prehistory. Piggott succeeded Childe as Abercromby Professor at the University of Edinburgh.
