Vandals

The Vandals were a Germanic people who migrated across Europe and founded a kingdom in North Africa in the fifth century.

Germanic peoples: A collection of peoples who spoke Germanic languages and lived across northern and central Europe in antiquity and the early Middle Ages. The Vandals belonged to this broad linguistic and historical grouping.
Rhine crossing of 406: The crossing of the Rhine by groups including Vandals, Alans, and Suebi, traditionally dated to the final day of 406. It marked the Vandals’ entry into Roman territory and began their westward advance.
