Knowra Veerappan Veerappan Koose Munisamy Veerappan was an Indian bandit and poacher who operated for decades in the forests of Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. He became notorious for sandalwood smuggling, wildlife poaching, kidnappings, and attacks on law-enforcement personnel.
