Vietnamese language

Vietnamese is an Austroasiatic language and the national language of Vietnam. It is spoken by more than 80 million people, primarily in Vietnam.

Vietnamese phonology: The sound system of Vietnamese, including its tones, vowels, consonants, and syllable patterns. Its tone and syllable patterns shape how spoken Vietnamese distinguishes words.

Analytic language: A language that expresses grammatical relationships mainly through word order and separate words rather than inflection. Vietnamese generally marks grammar with particles and position instead of changing word forms.
