Viktor Yanukovych

Viktor Yanukovych is a Ukrainian politician who served as president from 2010 until parliament removed him from office in February 2014, during the Euromaidan crisis.

Donetsk: A major city in eastern Ukraine and the center of the Donbas coal and steel region. Yanukovych built his political base in this industrial eastern Ukrainian region.
