Vince Gilligan

Vince Gilligan is an American television writer, producer, and director who created Breaking Bad and co-created its spin-off Better Call Saul.

Breaking Bad: An American crime drama series about chemistry teacher Walter White’s transformation into a methamphetamine producer. Gilligan created the series that established his signature approach to crime, character, and consequence.
Character arc: The development or transformation of a character over the course of a story. Walter White’s gradual transformation is the central structural principle of Breaking Bad.
Bryan Cranston: An American actor best known for playing Walter White in Breaking Bad. Gilligan cast Cranston after working with him on The X-Files.
Richmond, Virginia: The capital city of Virginia in the United States. Gilligan was born in Richmond in 1967.
