Walter Huston

Walter Huston (1883–1950) was a Canadian-born American stage and film actor. He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for The Treasure of the Sierra Madre.

The Treasure of the Sierra Madre: John Huston's 1948 film follows prospectors whose search for gold turns into a study of greed and distrust. Huston won his Academy Award for playing the grizzled prospector Howard in his son's film.
