Knowra Walther Rathenau Walther Rathenau Walther Rathenau (1867–1922) was a German industrialist, writer, and Weimar Republic foreign minister. Right-wing nationalists assassinated him in Berlin in 1922.
Emil Rathenau : A German engineer and entrepreneur who founded the electrical company Allgemeine Elektricitäts-Gesellschaft (AEG). Walther’s father founded AEG, the industrial enterprise where his son built his career.
