War correspondent

A journalist who reports on armed conflict, often from locations near active military operations. War correspondents document events for public audiences while facing risks and limits on access.

Embedded journalism: Journalism produced by reporters formally accompanying military units during operations. Embedding can provide access to troops while limiting independent movement and perspective.
