War of the Third Coalition

A European conflict fought in 1805 between Napoleonic France and its allies and a coalition led by Austria and Russia. French victory at Austerlitz ended the campaign and reshaped Central Europe.

Battle of Austerlitz: An 1805 battle in which Napoleon's forces defeated the Austrian and Russian armies in Moravia. The decisive French victory broke the coalition's main field army.
