Web series

A web series is an episodic audiovisual work originally distributed through the internet rather than television channels. Episodes may be released on streaming platforms, video-sharing sites, or a series’ own website.

Webisode: An individual episode of a web series, often shorter than a traditional television episode. Web series are built from episodes published online, sometimes called webisodes.
Internet television: The distribution of television-style audiovisual programming over the internet. Web series are one episodic form within the broader shift to internet-delivered programming.
Felicia Day: An American actor, writer, and producer who created the web series The Guild. The Guild became a prominent example of creator-led web-series production.
