Wenceslaus II of Bohemia

Wenceslaus II was a Přemyslid king of Bohemia from 1278 and king of Poland from 1300 until his death in 1305. His reign expanded Přemyslid power across Central Europe.

Kingdom of Bohemia: A medieval kingdom centered in Bohemia, ruled by the Přemyslid dynasty and later incorporated into the Habsburg lands. Wenceslaus strengthened this kingdom and made it the base of his dynastic expansion.
Kutná Hora: A Bohemian mining town whose rich silver deposits made it a major economic center in the Middle Ages. Silver from its mines financed royal authority and supported Wenceslaus's expansion.
