Western swing

Western swing is a dance music style that blends country music with jazz and big-band swing. It developed in the American Southwest and is known for rhythmic drive, improvisation, and varied instrumentation.

Swing rhythm: A rhythmic feel built around uneven subdivisions and forward-moving accents. Its bouncing pulse gives Western swing much of its dance-floor momentum.
