Wilhelm Wundt

Wilhelm Wundt (1832–1920) was a German psychologist and philosopher who founded an experimental psychology laboratory at the University of Leipzig in 1879. His research and teaching helped establish psychology as an independent experimental discipline.

Edward B. Titchener: An English psychologist who studied with Wundt and developed structuralism in the United States. Titchener carried a version of Wundt’s experimental approach to American psychology.
