William Lever

William Lever (1851–1925), later the first Viscount Leverhulme, was a British soap manufacturer, businessman, and philanthropist who co-founded Lever Brothers.

Bolton: A town in Greater Manchester, England, that became a major center of textile manufacturing. Lever was born and began his commercial career in this Lancashire town.
