World Rally Championship

The World Rally Championship is an annual international rally series organized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile. Drivers and manufacturers compete across timed stages on roads with varied surfaces and conditions.

Special stage: A closed-road section where rally crews race against the clock. Stage times, rather than head-to-head starts, determine the core of each rally result.
Rally1: The top-level car category used in the World Rally Championship since 2022, featuring hybrid power and a spaceframe chassis. Rally1 defines the championship's premier technical and performance class.
International Championship for Manufacturers: The FIA's 1970–1972 series that awarded a world title to rally car manufacturers. It was the direct predecessor to the WRC's manufacturer championship.
