Yasushi Akimoto

Yasushi Akimoto is a Japanese lyricist, television writer, and producer best known for creating and producing AKB48 and its sister groups.

AKB48: A Japanese idol group launched in 2005 and produced by Yasushi Akimoto. The flagship group through which Akimoto developed his theater-based idol model.
