Yé-yé

Yé-yé was a French pop movement of the early 1960s, marked by young singers and French-language adaptations of Anglo-American rock and pop.

Salut les copains: A French youth magazine and radio program launched in 1959, central to popular music culture in the 1960s. Its radio broadcasts and magazine gave yé-yé singers a shared platform and audience.
