Yingluck Shinawatra

Yingluck Shinawatra is a Thai politician and businesswoman who served as prime minister from 2011 to 2014, becoming Thailand’s first woman in the office.

2011 Thai general election: Thailand’s July 2011 election gave Pheu Thai a parliamentary majority and brought Yingluck Shinawatra to power. Its result established the parliamentary mandate for her premiership.
