Knowra Yu Ying-shih Yu Ying-shih Yu Ying-shih (1930–2021) was a Chinese-American historian of Chinese intellectual and cultural history. His scholarship examined Confucianism, Chinese thought, and the changing role of ideas across Chinese history.
