Yuzuru Hanyu

Yuzuru Hanyu is a Japanese figure skater who won Olympic men’s singles gold medals in 2014 and 2018. Known for combining technical difficulty with expressive performance, he became the first man in 66 years to win consecutive Olympic titles.

2014 Winter Olympics: The Winter Games held in Sochi, Russia, at which Yuzuru Hanyu won the men’s singles figure-skating title. Hanyu’s first Olympic gold came in Sochi, where he also became the first Asian man to win the event.
