Ahmadnagar Sultanate

The Ahmadnagar Sultanate was a Muslim kingdom in the Deccan, founded in 1490 by Malik Ahmad Nizam Shah and conquered by the Mughal Empire in 1636.

Bahmani Sultanate: A Deccan sultanate that ruled parts of southern India from 1347 to 1527. Its weakening and fragmentation created the conditions for Ahmadnagar's independence.
