Albania

Albania is a country in southeastern Europe on the Balkan Peninsula. It joined the Warsaw Pact in 1955, then withdrew from participation after its split with the Soviet Union.

People's Socialist Republic of Albania: Albania’s communist state from 1946 to 1991, ruled by the Party of Labour of Albania. This state joined the Warsaw Pact and later stopped participating as relations with Moscow collapsed.
