Aristides

Aristides was an Athenian statesman and general of the early fifth century BCE, known as “the Just” and for his role in the Persian Wars.

Themistocles: Themistocles was an Athenian statesman and general who promoted naval power and led Athens during the Persian Wars. His political rivalry with Aristides became a defining contest over Athens’s direction.
