Bhojpuri language

Bhojpuri is an Indo-Aryan language spoken chiefly in northern India, Nepal, and diaspora communities. It has a large speaker population but limited official recognition in India.

Indo-Aryan languages: A branch of the Indo-European family spoken across much of South Asia. Bhojpuri belongs to this branch and shares its broad historical linguistic inheritance.
