Bolesław III Wrymouth

Bolesław III Wrymouth was Duke of Poland from 1102 to 1138. He consolidated much of the realm and arranged its division among his sons, a settlement that shaped Poland’s later fragmentation.

Władysław I Herman: Duke of Poland from 1079 to 1102 and father of Bolesław III Wrymouth. His death in 1102 left Bolesław and Zbigniew competing for power.
