Celebes Sea

The Celebes Sea is a western Pacific sea bordered by Sulawesi, Borneo, and the southern Philippines. It connects to neighboring seas through deep passages and lies within a tectonically active region.

Sulawesi: An Indonesian island with four major peninsulas, located between Borneo and the Maluku Islands. Its northern coast forms much of the Celebes Sea’s southern boundary.
