Cnut the Great

Cnut the Great was a Danish king who ruled England from 1016, Denmark from 1018, and Norway from about 1028. His North Sea empire united these kingdoms under one ruler.

Sweyn Forkbeard: A Danish king who ruled England briefly in 1013–1014 and fathered Cnut the Great. His conquest of England and death opened the throne Cnut later claimed.
