Cotton

Cotton is a soft natural fiber formed from hairs growing around the seeds of cotton plants. Its cellulose-rich fibers are spun into yarn and made into textiles.

Cotton plant: Cotton plants are flowering members of the genus Gossypium whose seed hairs are harvested as textile fiber. The plant produces the seed hairs that become cotton fiber.
