Edward Alleyn

Edward Alleyn (1566–1626) was an English actor and theatrical entrepreneur who founded the Rose Theatre and the College of God’s Gift, later known as Dulwich College.

Philip Henslowe: Philip Henslowe was an English theatrical entrepreneur whose diary records London playhouse finances and productions. Alleyn’s business partner and father-in-law, Henslowe managed the Rose and their theatrical ventures.
