Equal pay for equal work

Equal pay for equal work is the principle that workers doing the same work should receive the same pay, without discrimination such as sex discrimination.

Equal pay for work of equal value: The principle that jobs of different kinds but comparable value should receive equal pay. It reaches beyond identical work to compare jobs with different duties.
International Labour Organization: A United Nations agency that sets international labor standards and promotes decent work. It adopted an early international convention on equal remuneration.
Equality Act 2010: A United Kingdom law consolidating protections against discrimination, including sex discrimination in pay. It provides a legal framework for challenging discriminatory pay.
