Flag ratio

A flag ratio is the proportional relationship between a flag’s width and height, usually written width:height. It determines the flag’s shape without specifying its physical size.

Flag of Nepal: Nepal’s national flag consists of two stacked triangular pennons rather than a rectangular field. Its nonrectangular shape makes width-to-height ratios less straightforward than for most flags.
Aspect ratio: An aspect ratio is the proportional relationship between the width and height of a two-dimensional object or image. Flag ratio is a specific use of this broader geometric idea.
