G. H. Hardy

Godfrey Harold Hardy (1877–1947) was a British mathematician whose work shaped analytic number theory and mathematical analysis. His collaboration with Srinivasa Ramanujan produced influential results in number theory.

Srinivasa Ramanujan: An Indian mathematician whose discoveries in number theory and analysis led to a celebrated collaboration with G. H. Hardy. Their partnership brought Ramanujan’s formulas into mathematical research and yielded enduring joint results.

Prime number theorem: A theorem stating that the number of primes up to x is asymptotic to x divided by the natural logarithm of x. Hardy and Littlewood developed methods for studying prime distribution beyond this foundational result.
