Henry Hudson

Henry Hudson was an English navigator whose early 17th-century voyages explored waterways in northeastern North America, including the river and bay that bear his name.

Hudson River: A major river in eastern New York that flows south into New York Harbor. Hudson sailed up this river in 1609 while seeking a passage to Asia.
