Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2

A virtuosic piano work by Franz Liszt, published in 1851 as the second of his Hungarian Rhapsodies and based on Hungarian themes.

Lassan: The slow, improvisatory opening section of a csárdás or Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2. Its measured phrases and ornamented declamation establish the rhapsody’s opening character.
