Hyderabad State

Hyderabad State was a princely state in the Deccan ruled by the Nizams. It acceded to India in 1948 after Indian forces entered during Operation Polo.

Asaf Jahi dynasty: The dynasty founded by Asaf Jah I that ruled Hyderabad State from 1724 until its integration into India. Its Nizams governed Hyderabad across the state’s rise and final accession.
