Metro Manila

Metro Manila, officially the National Capital Region, is the Philippines’ densely urbanized capital region on Luzon, comprising Manila and surrounding cities and municipalities.

Makati: A city in Metro Manila known as a major financial and business district. Its central business district anchors much of the region’s finance sector.
Metropolitan Manila Development Authority: A government agency responsible for coordinating selected services and planning across Metro Manila. It handles metropolitan concerns that cross city boundaries, including traffic and flood control.
