Paul Berg

Paul Berg (1926–2023) was an American biochemist who pioneered recombinant DNA research and shared the 1980 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for foundational work on nucleic acids.

Arthur Kornberg: An American biochemist who discovered DNA polymerase and studied DNA replication. Kornberg trained Berg and helped launch his career in biochemical research.
