Poker

Poker is a family of card games in which players wager using hands ranked by shared rules. Players may win by showing the strongest hand or by persuading opponents to fold.

Poker hand: A poker hand is the set of cards a player uses to compete under a variant’s ranking rules. Hand construction and ranking determine which player wins at showdown.
Playing card: A playing card is a printed or digital card bearing a suit and rank, used in games including poker. Poker variants draw and compare cards from one or more decks.
Texas hold 'em: Texas hold 'em is a poker variant in which each player receives two private cards and shares five community cards. Its private and shared cards create the format used in many major tournaments.
Doyle Brunson: Doyle Brunson was an American professional poker player and author, known for winning the World Series of Poker Main Event twice. His book helped spread strategic knowledge of Texas hold 'em.

Poker chips: Poker chips are tokens used to represent wagers and stakes at a poker table. Chips make bets countable and allow pots to be divided.
Omaha hold 'em: Omaha hold 'em is a poker variant where players receive four private cards and must use exactly two with three community cards. Its stricter card-use rule changes hand possibilities compared with Texas hold 'em.
Stu Ungar: Stu Ungar was an American professional poker player who won the World Series of Poker Main Event three times. His tournament record made him one of poker’s most celebrated players.
Pochen: Pochen was a German card game combining betting, bluffing, and card combinations. It is often cited as a European antecedent to poker.
